I recently found a Henry Giddens Clothing Co. box in my mother’s belongings. Do you know when the store stopped operating? My ties to Tampa are to the R. F. Nunez family. Thank you. Carol

My great uncle had a little barbershop down the street from giddens. He used to take me on Sunday’s when he would go to clean up and get ready for the week. He would sit me up in the shoeshine chair with a toy. Also we had great seats for gasparilla! He sat me on a ladder so I could see over all the heads. Oh for the good ole days.
