    I used to live down the street from this building so saw it every day. I always thought it was a shame that the facade was altered in such a poor fashion that turns its back on this prominent street corner. The openings could have been infilled in a more sensitive manner and some shallow shops could still be located along the streetscape to create a lively pedestrian experience. Bern’s could sell steak sandwiches from a little corner shop.

    Wow, great effect! Windows 7 was my idea, but who’s harebrained idea was NO WINDOWS!
