Description

Before I took this photograph, I did not think that the Centro Asturiano Club in Ybor City had changed at all. Then, I realized that the overhanging roof had been completely removed and the sidewalk out front had been shortened to allow for a turn lane. While membership in the club has declined greatly over the years, the building is still in use and hosts many events throughout the year.

    Goodbye trees. Hello parking lots.

  2. Dan Perez says:

So many buildings in the old days had a huge flagpole on the roof, proudly waving our flag. It’s a shame they don’t do this anymore.

    Still a beautiful building!
