Description

The former Horne-Wilson building, in Channelside, is now apparently occupied by Au Artists Unlimited. Its a shame that all of those vintage ads are now covered up…

  1. A bigger shame is that Artists Unlimited is no longer housing artists.. and has not for years. The Channel District was the home of many artists. We were supposed to have an arts administrator to help keep the arts in the district.. A plan was also paid for and produced. It laid out how to keep and encourage art in the neighborhood. What happened to it? All the plans fell victim to Tampa’s constant problem with not sticking to plans.. Unfortunately, we tax payers have to pay for each one of them..
