This 42,000 square foot factory was built in 1913. Notice the huge tower, currently only found on two other cigar factories. It is currently occupied by Tampa Tarp and Florida Umbrella.

  1. Inside the tower is an old water tank that was once used for the fire sprinkler system.

  2. Dan Perez says:

Cool, didn’t know that about the water tank in the tower. I’m amazed that neither of the companies (Tampa Tarp and Fla. Umbrella) make any effort on their websites to feature the history and architecture of this historic building.
